The company are looking for a talented Operations Manager to join their team and contribute to our continued success.

Your new role

As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the operation of the company's processing and collection activities. You will be responsible for strategic planning, budgetary planning, and ensuring operational best practices in compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations. Your key accountabilities will include ensuring the efficient functioning and timely delivery of all business services, measuring and reporting on performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability, and recruiting, training, and developing staff. You will also manage and coordinate fleet, plant, and equipment maintenance, support the Sales Team in business development, and provide operational reports to the Directors.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need experience of managing operational functions within a waste management or similar environment. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to plan and execute strategic and budgetary initiatives. You should have a proven track record of improving performance and developing staff, as well as experience in managing fleet and equipment maintenance. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies are also crucial.
