Engineering and Facilities Supervisor
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a dedicated Engineering and Facilities Supervisor to manage the planned and preventative maintenance of Mechanical & Electrical equipment. This role ensures compliance with current regulations, resolves issues raised by stakeholders, and completes all works safely and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage M&E maintenance works, including statutory compliance testing, fault finding, and minor repairs.
- Plan and prioritize workload for the building technician, maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure all works comply with health & safety legislation.
- Liaise with customers, keeping them informed about the nature and duration of works.
- Assist the Facilities Manager in formulating a 5-year maintenance program.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of Facilities Management and H&S legislation.
- Demonstrable experience in M&E maintenance and repairs.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Experience with soft service providers and supervising specialist contractors.
Additional Information:
- This role requires flexibility, the ability to plan and work unsupervised, and a commitment to personal development.
- A Disclosure and Barring Service check at the basic level is required.
- The role includes emergency responsibilities.
- £45,000 - £47,500 Per Annum
- Car Allowance £2,600
