A well-known plant hire company, based in Milngavie, is working with Hays to find a Candidate who will join them as a Payroll Specialist. This individual will join The team on a permanent contract. The position is office-based with hybrid working with hours Work is Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. On-site parking is available.

You're new role

In your new role, you will be responsible for carrying out the following duties: process the payroll data implantation, follow and keep to date with all legislation and regulations, identify process improvement potential for existing employees, proactively manage customer enquiries via phone and email, maintain accurate financial records, allocation of receipts on system and to resolve disputed accounts, to ensure all customer receipts are made in accordance with payment terms and prepare and distribute month end reports set up new customer accounts to establish good working relationships with all employee. The ideal candidate will also be willing to assist the HR director with generalist HR duties when Needed.

What You'll need to succeed.

To be Successful in this role, you must have had previous experience in a similar Position with the ability to come in and hit the ground running. You must also Have the ability to communicate clearly with others in both written and verbal Formats. End-to-end payroll and generalist HR duties are an advantage. The correct individual must also have good attention to detail, as this Will be required regularly. All applicants must have the UK rights to work.
