Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Nursery Based, Axminster

Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Nursery within a Primary School, Axminster
Position: Full-Time (5 days a week) - Open to Job Share
Dates: Starting ASAP, running for 10–12 weeks

About Us:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and vibrant nursery within a primary school in Axminster, dedicated to providing a supportive and stimulating environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and educational activities for nursery-aged children.
  • Support the class teacher in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Monitor and record children's progress and development.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children.

Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through Hays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to the development of young children.
