Job Title: Design and Technology (DT) Teacher (Resistant Materials, Textiles & Design)
Location: Crawley
Job Type: Temporary (Ongoing Sickness Cover)
Salary: Paid to scale from day one.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging DT lessons with a focus on resistant materials, textiles, and design.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
- Maintain a safe and organised classroom, ensuring all equipment and materials are used responsibly.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to undergo a new check.
- Experience teaching DT, with a focus on resistant materials, textiles, and design.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
