Your new school:
This Bristol-based primary school is in search of a compassionate and empathetic SEN specialised Teaching Assistant to join their Y4 class as soon as possible. This school prides itself on its ability to make sure that each child reaches their full potential. This BS1 school has received glowing reviews, whether that be from the students attending or the parents and families of the school, as it values creativity and hard work from all. This BS1 school is located along a public bus route and has a car park on site.
Your new role:
This role is working 1.1 with a child with Global delay, so you will need to be specialised in this area and have experience working with children that have additional global delay needs. This child has an EHCP formulated for them, and you will be their key person with them during class times to help explain the lessons and break down areas as this child is working at a lower level than the rest of the class. This role will also involve reading interventions with this child on a 1.1 basis too.
Requirements to succeed in your new role:
- Teaching Assistant experience within the last two years
- Two working references from your most recent jobs that apply relevance to the position
- Previous experience with global delay children is desirable.
- A DBS on the update service is needed. This can be done through us at Hays!
