Your new role
My Darlington-based client is looking for temporary support for between 1–3 months.This role is responsible for giving the first impression of the company and dealing with incoming calls and enquiries.
The position is a 'signpost' or 'reception' type of role and involves taking a high volume of incoming calls and, if unable to help, directing them to the correct internal point of contact, and dealing with web enquiries, ensuring they are followed up.
My client is currently looking for a professional, empathetic and caring individual to answer enquiries from private individuals, professionals and other stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have excellent telephone and communication skills, as the role will also involve ensuring that all calls are answered promptly and appropriately.
You will need basic IT skills and a willingness to learn.
Ideally, you will have previous experience working within a customer service environment.
