I am currently working exclusively with an engineering company located in Preston. They are currently recruiting a Receptionist / Administrator, reporting to the Office Manager, to join the team. The company has an engaging and supportive team culture and is a well-established company. They pride themselves on their professional approach and commitment to providing excellent service to their clients. This is a new role due to expansion within the team.
Your new role
As a Receptionist / Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Office Manager and the team.
Being a first point of contact for business, meeting and greeting visitors.
Booking and arranging appointments and distributing emails where necessary.
Your responsibilities will include answering phone calls, photocopying and scanning documents, typing minutes of meetings and reports.
Inputting timesheets, compiling case studies, greeting visitors, managing diaries, booking rooms and travel arrangements, preparing mail, and carrying out weekly inventory checks.
You will also be responsible for maintaining the kitchen area and performing other ad-hoc duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent telephone skills, good telephone manner, and the ability to deal with client and supplier queries.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential, along with copy and audio typing skills.
Please note, previous experience of Administration or Receptionist is required.
You should be able to prioritise work, communicate effectively with other staff members, and ideally have a full clean driving licence.

Monday-Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 08:30-16:00pm.
