Data Engineer (Cloud)

Glasgow/Hybrid - 2 days in the city centre office per week
£55k + final salary pension = excellent holidays

This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to join a team focused on innovation .

You will be joining a leading public sector body focused on delivering crucial services to customers across Scotland. In recent years they have invested significantly in their cloud infrastructure and are keen to fully capitalise on the access this now gives to huge amounts of new data.

The Data Engineer will work closely with internal business stakeholders to design the required cloud data infrastructure in order to deliver the desired data services.

You will be confident working across MicroSoft Azure Architecture and utilise your advanced SQL knowledge.

You will design and build suitable data pipelines, ensuring optimised flow and processing as well as building and performing large ETL processes.

This role is part of a small (4) data and analytics team and the role offers the chance to contribute to the direction of projects and solutions as well as selection of best tools.

The salary for the is role is up to £55k and offers excellent holidays and full final salary pension.
