Role and Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
- Develop individualised education plans (IEPs) for students, ensuring their specific learning needs are met.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal development of students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance and progress.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching maths in a secondary school setting, preferably with SEN students.
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and classroom management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for education and a commitment to student welfare.
