Director of Software Quality Engineering

Our client is looking to engage a Director of Quality Engineering for their rapidly developing Software Team.
You will have experience of managing Software Quality Engineering Team Leaders and own the Quality Engineering strategy.
Building and developing Chapters.
Embedding modern agile QE within teams in line with performing traditional waterfall test assurance.
You will be responsible for the Quality Engineering budget.
Utilising Test as a Service partner, delivering value for money and quality of Quality Assurance /test services.
Embed quality at all levels of software engineering within technology teams.
Act as the leader for all testing standards, tooling and assurance processes across the full estate.

Your experience will demonstrate
Defining and Implementing the Quality Engineering Strategy supported across technology

Ensure the adoption of modern shift-left test practices, including test automation and embedding testing in teams, not as a later phased assurance role.
Working within CI/CD environments
Developing a reduction in TaaS through automation or insourcing
