Project manager, 12-month contract, Belfast (hybrid), up to £580 p/d

We are working with a global financial institution to recruit a Project Manager within the Operations team. This role is aligned with the Data Operations function and requires knowledge and expertise in reference data processes, systems, and solutions. The DRO Project Manager will be responsible for managing strategic initiatives across Data and Regulatory operations, driving transformative changes, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day execution against milestones and budget for one or more projects.
  • Create and maintain end-to-end operations project plans, including sign-off of project plan, charter, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log.
  • Engage stakeholders across product and functional domains to drive transformative changes.
  • Apply knowledge of data concepts and procedures to resolve issues and complete required analysis.
  • Assess and escalate risk when business decisions are made, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Essential Criteria:
  • At least 7-10 years’ experience within a project management role in financial services or similar field, specifically within the data domain.
  • Proven track record of managing project scope, direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and control, ensuring compliance with project management governance.
  • Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

This role will be a hybrid role with 3 days in the office in Belfast. Although the role is initially for a 12-month period, there is a high possibility of extension.
