I am assisting a Scottish-based client of mine – who are a leading manufacturing company that are opening a new facility in Bulgaria and are looking for an Operations Manager that is fluent in English and Bulgarian. They are looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team and drive operational excellence.

Job Description: As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their manufacturing facility in the East side of Bulgaria. You will ensure that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Your role will involve managing a team of supervisors and production staff, optimising workflows, and implementing best practices to achieve operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the manufacturing operations, including production, quality control, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as supply chain, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless operations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and production staff.
• Manage budgets, resources, and schedules to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
