Repairs Supervisor - Trades Supervisor - Social Housing - Temporary to Permanent - Nottinghamshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Repairs Supervisor to oversee a skilled and dedicated trades team. This dynamic role offers the chance to make a real impact within the repairs and voids department, maintaining and improving social housing stock across North Nottinghamshire.

Hours: Full-time, 08:00–16:00
Contract Type: Interim, with potential for temp-to-perm.

Your new role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a trades team consisting of multi-skilled operatives, including painters, electricians, plumbers, and bricklayers.

  • Ensure all repairs and voids work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Monitor team performance and provide support, guidance, and training to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience in supervising or managing trade teams.

  • Knowledge of repairs and voids processes, as well as a strong understanding of health and safety requirements.

  • Exceptional organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A candidate who has a Trades background and has worked their way up to managing teams would be advantageous.
