Your new job working as an Account Handler/Broker Support Technician, will be working for an innovative and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers who have been established for over 100 years. Due to substantial growth within their Energy, Construction & Power team, a permanent position for an Account Handler/Broker Support Technician has arisen.

Your new job working as an Account Handler/Broker Support Technician means you will be providing support to the Directors and Broking staff in the Downstream Energy and Construction account. The main purpose of the role is to oversee internal compliance and processing Downstream business as well as managing relationships with underwriters and clients.

Duties will include creating timely and accurate MRC Slips and Endorsements, liaising with Brokers and Clients, working with the Broker Technical Services and IBA to ensure accurate data collection and monitor premium payments. You will also deal and manage a Facility, assist with new business and existing enquiries, monitor survey report requirements and assist with the broking process to Reinsurers. Further duties will also include keeping client files and systems up to date.

Your previous experience as an Account Handler or Broker Support Technician producing MRC slips and Endorsements will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have knowledge of PPL, Whitespace and e-placing platforms as well as excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be outgoing and able to use your own initiative whilst developing effective working relationships.

You’ll be offered a competitive salary of up to £42,000 on an annual basis depending on experience plus a comprehensive benefits package. You’ll receive support from both directors your colleagues and management.
