A growing consultancy, operating on a global scale, is seeking a Management Accountant to join their close-knit and dynamic finance team, based in Abingdon.

In this role you will be managing their US entity from start-to-finish, ensuring accuracy and consistency, as well as providing assistance to the Finance Director. This exciting opportunity offers a supportive working environment and the potential for further progression, with the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities for the right candidate.

Your new role

• Preparation of the management accounts, including accruals and prepayments
• Carry out bank reconciliation
• Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process
• Collaborating with external and internal stakeholders to resolve payment queries
• Producing payment runs
• Overseeing the credit control activities
• Handling client invoice and staff expenses
• Commissions & bonus accruals and reconciliation
• Deferred income/accrued income
• Quarterly tax payments
• Assisting with Audits

What you'll need to succeed

• Prior experience handling intercompany charges is desirable.

• AAT Qualified or QBE is preferred but not essential.

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong Excel skills
