Job Summary

As a School Administrator, you will provide support to our senior leadership team, teachers, and students. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school, handling a wide range of administrative tasks, and providing excellent customer service to the school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the senior leadership team, including preparing documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Manage the school’s reception area, handling phone calls, emails, and visitors.
  • Coordinate school events, meetings, and appointments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including student data, attendance, and staff records.
  • Provide administrative support for student admissions, including processing applications and communicating with parents.
  • Manage the school’s communication systems, including emails, newsletters and social media.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure effective communication and organisation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative role within an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanour, with excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience using school systems such as SIMS
