Your new role

Reporting into the PMO Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the successful implementation of IT/Digital-based projects across the organisation. You will work with senior stakeholders across various departments, as well as technical SMEs and external partners/suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of projects, within budget. Additionally, you will implement and maintain robust governance controls to ensure compliance with organisational policies and standards, and to manage risks effectively throughout the project lifecycle.


What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive Project Management Experience: 5+ years of managing projects through the full software development lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery from initiation to closure.
• Certified Prince 2 Practitioner: Holder of Prince2 Practitioner Certification, proficient in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, or equivalent certification.
• Methodological Expertise: Skilled in applying both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies to suit project needs and ensure efficient delivery.
• Proficient in Project Management Tools: Experienced in using Microsoft Project, ServiceNow SPM, and SAP Solution Manager/Cloud ALM for effective project planning, tracking, and management.
• Advanced Microsoft Tools Proficiency: Highly skilled in utilizing Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams for data analysis, presentation, collaboration, and communication.


What you'll get in return

You can expect a basic salary in the region of £60,000 to £70,000 (depending on experience), along with a performance related bonus, pension and 25 days annual leave, along with a range of flexible benefits around health & wellbeing support, learning & development, retail discounts and flexitime.

*Candidates must be based in the East Lancashire region as the role requires an onsite presence up to 5 days a week.
