Job Advert: Senior Quantity Surveyor – M25 London Orbital Motorway Project
Location: Greater London + Leatherhead, South Mimms, Dartford (Flexible Working Options)
We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team delivering the iconic M25 London Orbital Motorway project. Managed by Connect Plus Services (CPS), this project is one of Europe’s most dynamic highway infrastructure projects, offering unparalleled challenges and growth opportunities.
About the Role:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in managing costs and ensuring the delivery of high standards for the M25 project. Your responsibilities will include:
- Cost Management: Overseeing cost reconciliation, measurements, and valuations for civil engineering works.
- Contract and Programme Analysis: Reviewing contracts and preparing procurement strategies.
- Commercial Reporting: Providing detailed analyses of commercial progress and cost-value reconciliations.
- Claim Preparation: Preparing and negotiating claims in line with contract conditions.
- Mentorship: Supporting junior team members in their professional development.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with experience managing commercial teams.
- Full working knowledge of the NEC contract in various guises.
- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Quantity Surveying (or related field).
- Membership or progress towards RICS, ICES, or similar.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highways or civil engineering project experience is a plus.
