As a Design Engineer, you will be joining a company based in County Tyrone, renowned for creating the world's toughest recycling equipment while working on bespoke equipment in global projects across various plants that process a multitude of waste streams, including construction and demolition waste, commercial and industrial waste, dry mixed recyclables, municipal solid waste, and compost. Your New Role
As a Design Engineer, you will spearhead multiple design projects, from conceptualisation and drawing creation to full design approval. You will collaborate closely with Production to ensure seamless support throughout the manufacturing and testing phases, guaranteeing top-tier quality and on-time delivery. Your responsibilities will include developing design solutions that surpass customer expectations in terms of cost, quality, and schedule adherence, generating 3D designs and manufacturing drawings, creating detailed on-site installation drawings, performing engineering calculations and analyses, and compiling comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs) for Procurement Departments, Production, and Installation teams. You will also provide engineering and technical support to Production, Sales, and After-Sales Departments, support product testing both at the factory and on-site, participate in customer meetings, and ensure strict compliance with our ISO 9001 Quality Management System and company health and safety procedures.
What You Will Need to Succeed
To succeed in this role, you need proficiency in 3D modelling, alongside essential skills including meeting deadlines, self-motivation, time management, strong communication, and teamwork and at least 2 years of experience are required.
