Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 3 pupil with a physical disability. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to ensure the pupil's full participation in school life.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 3 pupil with a physical disability. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to ensure the pupil's full participation in school life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a Year 3 pupil with a physical disability, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist with mobility and physical needs.
- Support the pupil in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and record the pupil's progress and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Understanding of physical disabilities and experience in providing related support.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications in education or support work are desirable.
