Interim Payroll Specialist
What you'll need to succeed
Candidates will be required to have a proven track record within payroll services and execution/ownership of running payroll. This role is initially until August, before which an extension may well be available.
- Previously worked in a payroll service delivery department
- Knowledge of current statutory payroll guidelines and best practice
- Ability to accurately calculate gross to net calculations manually, including overpayment calculations
- Able to translate complex payroll information to a non-payroll audience
- Able to interpret and present complex data in a range of formats to multiple audience types
- Fantastic attention to detail, motivated by producing high-quality work
- A proactive and problem-solving approach with examples of successful outcomes
- Experience of handling challenging conversations/complaints
What you'll get in return
The client is looking to pay up to £250.00 per day along with excellent annual leave entitlement as well as hybrid working opportunities. The successful candidate will be subject to a basic DBS check and as soon as completed, will be able to start.
