Job Description:
Our client, a Housing Association in the Glasgow region, is seeking a Temporary Maintenance Officer to join their team for an initial period of 3 months. This role focusses on supporting the property services team in delivering a robust planned and reactive maintenance service to their tenants, with a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections and assessments of properties to identify maintenance needs.
Carry out planned maintenance tasks, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and emergencies.
Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure high-quality work.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on progress.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing their concerns and queries.
Requirements:
Proven experience in property maintenance, preferably within the housing sector.
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software.
A full UK driving licence is required.
