Head of Group Reporting job for a growing, dynamic business in the Woking area.
Your new company
You will be joining a well-established international business in a high-profile role as Head of Group Reporting. The business is moving through its next phase of growth and now seeks a talented finance professional to lead a team, work with the Exec leadership and evolve the group finance function.
Your new role
Working closely with the Finance Director of the Group, you will lead in several key areas; manage an experienced team of finance experts in group reporting, ensuring that they are operating efficiently and have the right training and development in place. You'll lead monthly internal reporting presenting key insights on group management accounts to Exco ensuring it remains "value adding". You'll also oversee statutory reporting and audit, treasury and tax across all regions, leading on all funding requirements and managing risk. As the head of group finance, you will also lead on IFRS reporting and policies. Alongside the day to day oversight, there will be a number of value add projects to get involved with, including finance transformation across controls, reporting and balance sheet and improvement of existing finance systems. This is a broad role with a huge amount of scope as the company continues to expand.
What you'll need to succeed
In addition to your professional accounting qualification, you should have a very strong controls background, ideally through training in one of the large audit firms. You should be a proven operator within group finance and have significant international experience. You should also have led projects and be a confident team leader. Industry background within manufacturing or a product is essential.
What you'll get in return
A competitive salary, discretionary bonus, hybrid working, 25 days annual leave and private medical is on offer.
