A fast-growing business seek a technically astute group finance manager

Your new company

Progressive, growing organisation who have experienced strong year-on-year growth seek to appoint a motivated Group Finance Manager to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in month-end processes, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit management. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and regulatory compliance of the organisation as they continue to evolve both here in the UK and internationally.

Your new role

  • Month-End Closing:
    Oversee and manage the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Statutory Reporting:
    Prepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Tax Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including preparation and submission of tax returns and managing tax audits.
  • Audit Management:
    Supporting in the coordination and management of the internal and external audits, ensuring all audit requirements are met and findings are addressed promptly.
  • Financial Analysis:
    Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
  • Team Leadership:
    Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for financial initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting skills, especially around month and year-end reporting, with strong statutory reporting, audit management and leadership qualities.
