Accounts Assistant

  • Salary: 25-37k (negotiable salary, dependent on experience)
  • Location: Swindon-based
  • Permanent role
  • Must have SAGE and strong Excel skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating sales invoices
  • Handling purchase invoices
  • Managing service recharges
  • Performing bank and cashbook reconciliations
  • Conducting credit control
  • Recording weekly sales
  • Reconciling company cash
  • Managing petty cash reconciliations
  • Reconciling monthly deposits
  • Balancing the balance sheet

Ideal Candidate:

  • Understanding of accountancy principles up to trial balance level
  • Knowledge of debit and credit processing
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Professional communication skills at all levels
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
