Administration Assistant, temporary position, based in Derry City Centre, weekly pay

Your new company

Hays are working on behalf of a leading Public Sector employer in Derry City to recruit an Administrator to join their team. This is an office-based role and working hours will be 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.


Your new role
As Administrator, you will work within a busy team and be responsible for managing confidential information. This will involve processing customer details, updating systems accurately and efficiently, answering telephone calls and dealing with enquiries, liaising with internal departments, recording and distributing incoming post / mail, arranging meetings and booking appointments, word processing correspondence, producing reports as required for managers and general administration duties.

What you'll need to succeed
As Administrator, essentially, you will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar position. You will have 6 GCSEs (Grades A-C), including GCSE Maths and English (Grade A-C) or an equivalent or higher educational standard.
AND one year's experience providing administration support in an administrative/clerical role
OR
QCF (Previously NVQ) Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent or higher educational standard AND one year's experience providing administration support in an administrative/clerical role
OR
Three years' experience providing administration support in an administrative/clerical role.

Additionally, you will be proficient in Microsoft suite, have excellent organisational, attention to detail and communication skills.
