Your new role

They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the global consultancy business. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation. The key responsibilities are;

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers
  • Process invoices, expense claims, and payments in a timely manner
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Assist with audits and internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
  • Handle ad hoc financial tasks and projects as required


What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Relevant experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within a consultancy or professional services environment
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
