Your new role

You will be working as an assistant accountant providing support for the finance team and reporting to the group. You will be responsible for undertaking financial and management accounting functions.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget variances and provide analysis.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Gather and analyse financial data to support decision-making.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.
• Maintain organised and up-to-date financial files.

What you'll need to succeed

You need to be able to meet deadlines and approach tasks with a can do attitude.

You need to be adept in Excel.
