About the Role:
You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Services Group in Cambridge, participate in all audit stages, and manage a team of auditors. This senior role, reporting directly to Partners, involves leading multiple engagements and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Corporate Services Group: train, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Review assignments and provide feedback.
  • Manage a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring effective communication of engagement progress and financial information.
  • Participate in networking and building client relationships.
  • Ensure engagement profitability and support business development activities.

Essential Skills:
  • Proven audit background within a UK practice and front-line client contact.
  • ICAEW/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Good knowledge of audit planning and UK GAAP accounts preparation.
  • Experience with CCH accounts software or similar packages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and able to undertake some travel.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.

Desirable Skills:
  • Sector specialist experience in IFRS.
  • Experience in staff recruitment and induction.
  • Presentation skills on technical matters.
  • Focus on personal and professional development.
  • Experience in tender processes and business development.
