Audit Manager - International clients in a Top 10 firm - London

Your new company

Your new company is a Top 10 firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking for a Manager to join their successful international audit team in central London. This firm offers the full range of business services such as audit, accounting, taxation, corporate finance and more to small and large companies across a wide variety of sectors. This firm continues to work on ensuring their staff are equipped with everything they need to achieve their potential while also being able to balance their work and life commitments.


Your new role

You will be working within the busy London audit team specialising in clients from various sectors that have an international presence, including international household names.
This office is the hub of the international sector within this Top 10 firm. International travel is also available in this role for those who desire it (6 to 8 weeks per year!). Duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
  • Audit: statutory and CASS audit, planning, completion, attend / lead client meetings etc.
  • Being a key point of contact throughout the year
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients as well as prospective clients
  • Accounts preparation
  • Provision of general business advice to clients
  • Managing the overall service delivery to clients
  • Assist in supervising/managing the audit staff, including having a responsibility for the coaching and development of the team members reporting directly into you, taking responsibility for career development of others
  • Business development activities such as building relationships with target clients and referrers
  • Assist where required in the general running of the audit department
  • Reporting directly to the partner and having several direct team members report to you.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful ideally, you will be:
    • Qualified ACA/ACCA/ICAS Qualified or equivalent
    • Client portfolio management
  • Experience of managing, supervising, supporting and coaching junior members of staff to develop their knowledge and understanding
    • Strong working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
    • Recent experience within a Chartered Accountancy firm in the UK
    • Exemplary communication skills
