Our client, a leading Accountancy firm, based in Belfast, are searching for a dynamic and motivated Audit Senior to join our team. As an Audit Senior, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding audit and assurance services to a diverse range of clients, making a positive difference to their businesses.

Your new role
  • Lead and execute audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective audit strategies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
  • Manage and supervise a team of audit professionals, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
  • Identify and communicate audit findings, offering practical recommendations to enhance financial controls, operational efficiency, and risk management for our clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and delivering exceptional client service.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, auditing standards, and emerging trends to enhance audit methodologies and provide value-added insights to clients.
  • What you'll need to succeed
    Qualified or working towards qualification as a Chartered Accountant (ACA or ACCA).
  • Previous experience in audit within a reputable accounting firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks, and relevant legislation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in relevant audit software and tools.
