Business Change Planning and Engagement Manager (Process Mapping and Automation) 4 month contract

Your new role

Working in the newly formed Transformation Team you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of exciting business change projects which are critical to the ongoing development of professional services at Keele University.
The primary focus of the role is to play a pivotal subject matter expert role in guiding the organisational approach to planning and executing major business change. Critically you will implement frameworks and operating practices for business change planning and engagement which will support both transformation projects and programmes and spread best practice more widely across the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Leading on development and execution of stakeholder engagement and communications plans on large scale business change programmes
  • Leading on completion of business readiness, maturity and impact assessments to identify barriers to successful transformation and develop solutions to overcome them
  • Leading on the scoping, development and tracking of benefits throughout the lifecycle of projects and implementing strategies and safeguards to optimise benefit realisation
  • Planning for and managing major new initiatives and significant change activity ensuring objectives complement the broader organisational strategy
  • Lead, engage and deliver change activity including establishing cases for change, mapping, transition and embedding in BAU
  • Assessing the skills and training requirements of those involved in or effected by change and work closely with Organisational Design colleagues to ensure the right training and support is provided to optimise for successful outcomes
  • Support the design of briefs and supervision of third parties engaged on contracts arrangement to build capability and/or capacity around business change planning (e.g. change implementation partners
