Hays are representing a leading Global Law Firm to recruit a Commercial Lawyer for their Belfast branch.

Your new role

• Building strong working relationships with partners/ lawyers in all sectors and departments.
• Identifying innovative services and methods to work towards achieving efficiencies.
• Assist in continual process improvement.
• Providing support throughout the firms’ practices; primarily in the commercial, data, information and technology practice.
• Work alongside members of the Corporate Support Group and Contentious Support Group in a “One Team” approach, assisting with bespoke projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified as a Lawyer in England & Wales or Northern Ireland.
• Strong experience in a broad range of Commercial contracts.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Sound commercial awareness.
• Ability to review, analyse and organise evidence.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and online research tools.
• Excellent writing and organisational skills.
• Able to work well both individually and in a team environment.

• Experience in IT agreements, software licencing, data protection or intellectual property.
