Community Engagement Lead - Permanent Role - Corby Based - 30K-34K per annum - Immediate Start

Your New Role:

As our Community Engagement / Development Lead, you will play a vital role in shaping and enhancing our community in North End, Corby. Your primary responsibility will be to build strong relationships with residents, businesses, and local organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage with residents through various channels, including face-to-face interactions, social media, and community events.
  • Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to understand community needs and concerns.
  • Address resident enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Organise and host a variety of community events, such as summer BBQs, walking clubs, and community fairs.
  • Promote events through effective marketing strategies, including social media and local advertising.
  • Collaborate with local partners to implement initiatives that improve the quality of life for residents.
  • Provide regular reports to management on community engagement activities and key findings.
  • Produce regular communications and updates for residents, including newsletters and social media content.
  • Utilise social media and other digital platforms to engage with the community and share updates.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community programs.
  • Gather and analyse resident feedback to inform future planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with local authorities, businesses, and community groups to strengthen partnerships and secure resources.
  • Advocate for the needs of the community and work towards positive change.
What you'll need to succeed:

  • Proven experience in community engagement or a similar field.
  • Knowledge of the local area / surrounding areas
  • Marketing Experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse groups.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software.
  • A passion for creating vibrant and inclusive communities
  • A driving Licence is required for this role.
