Your new role

We are searching for an enthusiastic Computing Teacher to promote computer literacy amongst the students. Whether you’re an experienced educator or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the students’ academic growth.


Responsibilities:
  • Planning Lessons: Design and deliver engaging lessons that facilitate students’ acquisition of basic and advanced computer skills.
  • Confidence Building: Instruct in a manner that develops students’ confidence in their abilities.
  • Classroom Management: Observe and manage classroom dynamics effectively.
  • Assessment: Invigilate and grade projects, quizzes, and examinations.
  • Lab Maintenance: Ensure the computer laboratory remains in excellent working condition.
  • Parent-Teacher Engagement: Attend parent-teacher conferences.
  • Socioeconomic Awareness: Be mindful of factors limiting technology access and acclimatise students with no prior exposure to computers.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline.
  • Teaching Certification: Certification for the level at which you will be instructing.
  • Experience: Prior experience as a computer teacher.
  • Transport: Own, reliable transport is preferable.
  • First Aid Training: Advantageous.
  • Skills: Excellent presentation abilities, strong written and administrative skills.
  • Approach: Nurturing, adaptable approach to instructing.
  • Passion: Passionate about fostering computer literacy and academic excellence.
