IT Analyst - Full-Time Permanent Post with Leading Public Services Organisation.

Your new role

A leading public service organisation has a new opening for an Application Analyst who will provide corporate wide support to IT users to ensure the effective use of corporate applications. As an Application Analyst in this role, you will take responsibility for delivery of work packages as defined by project and programme managers. The postholder will also provide cover for the IS Help Desk and other IT functions within a team support environment.


What you'll need to succeed - Essential Criteria


  • Possess a minimum of a HNC/HND or equivalent, in an IT or Business related qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ previous technical support or related customer service experience in a software environment. Minimum of 2 years’ experience of computer hardware and network operating systems and expertise in troubleshooting hardware and software compatibility issues across various configurations
  • Possess a current driving licence for work-related purposes when required to attend other locations
  • Willing to work irregular hours.
Desirable Criteria

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of cloud computing including migrating “on premise” applications to the cloud.
  • Willing to work an “Out of Hours” rota.
