A mid-tier accountancy firm based in Central London is looking to hire a Corporate Finance Senior to join the firms expanding Corporate Finance department. The firm provides a number of compliance and business advisory services to small OMBs through to large international companies.
Your new role
In your new role as a Corporate Finance Senior, you'll be responsible for the delivery of buy-side advisory and financial due diligence services to a host of clients spanning a variety of industries. A key component of this role is report writing and advising clients. Once established in the team you will be given the opportunity to play a key role in lead advisory assignments.
In your new role as a Corporate Finance Senior, you'll be responsible for the delivery of buy-side advisory and financial due diligence services to a host of clients spanning a variety of industries. Responsibilities:
- Delivery of buy-side advisory services and the preparation of financial due diligence reports
- Assist with pitching and the preparation of proposals, including scope and fee
- Discussing finding and issues with the client, as well as providing solutions
- Understanding and responding appropriately to client needs
- Plan and carry out all corporate finance assignments to the degree agreed with the respective Manager
- Effectively manage your time and costs, to keep within budget wherever possible and report to the Manager or Partner as soon as it appears that the agreed budget will be compromised
- Understand the specification of the assignment agreed with the client and report immediately to the Manager (or Partner) if and when this specification may need to be changed
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA or ACCA qualified from an audit background
- Ideally experience writing financial due diligence reports
- Ideally experience working with financial models
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident in liaising with a number of colleagues and clients
