Hays is partnering with a dynamic digital marketing and technology organisation that specialises in supporting the travel and leisure sector throughout the United Kingdom. Based just outside of Cheltenham, this leading provider of innovative technology solutions is committed to empowering travel & leisure services to increase direct profitability and enhance guest experiences. They are looking to add a driven and experienced Credit Controller on a part-time basis.

You will be expected to work up to 25 hours per week within three business days, the regular working hours being 8:30–17:00, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary works out to be £13 - £15 per hour, pro rata down to part-time hours/days, dependent on experience.

Your new role
As a Credit Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Chasing overdue payments from clients.
  • Posting receipts and processing expenses.
  • Reconciling purchase invoices and statements.
  • Managing both the purchase and sales ledgers.
  • Liaising with sites to answer queries and gather information.
  • Communicating effectively with suppliers and customers, both verbally and in writing.
  • Supporting the wider finance team with general administrative tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage 200/50, Xero etc).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role or within a finance team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
