Your Next Contract - Job Overview
As the Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support for Windows-based systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring optimal performance of the company's desktop environment. You'll work closely with the IT team to implement system upgrades, manage user accounts, and maintain security protocols.
What you'll need to succeed
Extensive experience with Windows 10/11 OS and Microsoft 365 suite
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server
Experience with hardware troubleshooting and maintenance
Proficiency in desktop imaging and deployment technologies
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
