Our client is seeking a Digital & IT Training Developer. This role is crucial for enhancing their digital capabilities and training staff in the latest IT tools. Join a forward-thinking team dedicated to continuous improvement and success.

Your new role

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing our client's IT support services and training programs. You will be responsible for contributing to an efficient and effective IT Support Service, establishing strong working relationships with key IT Contacts, developing and producing engaging E-Learning courses and modules for software packages, and significantly reducing the number of support calls handled by the IT Helpdesk through a comprehensive Training Programme.

  • Develop, produce, and roll out E-Learning modules as directed by the Lead IT Trainer and/or the IT Service Delivery Manager.
  • Act as a point of contact for digital learning related queries within the IT department and review existing training courses to transition from classroom-based to E-Learning.
  • Specify competencies for end-user training and testing on the firm’s main Digital & IT products.
  • Establish patterns in support calls with the IT Helpdesk Team to identify training needs and liaise with the Learning and Development team in HR to incorporate additional training requirements.
  • Design and deliver a scheduled training program for all offices, including IT Induction Training for new starters, and update content to reflect changes in the firm’s software portfolio.
  • Assist the IT Project & Governance Manager with evaluating new software and IT-based services and provide training for new software rollouts.
  • Maintain detailed training documentation and records, contribute to IT updates within the firm, and provide occasional Helpdesk cover as needed.
  • Provide occasional IT Helpdesk cover where possible, to support end-users with new software.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong ability to act as a point of contact for digital learning queries and transition training courses from classroom-based to E-Learning.
  • Expertise in specifying competencies for end-user training and testing on Digital & IT products.
  • Experience in identifying training needs through support call patterns and liaising with HR to incorporate additional training requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver scheduled training programs, including IT Induction Training, and update content to reflect changes in software portfolios.
