Are you looking for an Early Years Practitioner job? Role available at a mixed 3-19 special needs school in East London!

Your new school
Early Years Practitioners are required for a SEN school based in Waltham Forest. The school teaches children aged 3 to 19 years with varying needs. The pupils needs include complex needs, cognition and learning difficulties. The school is committed to the developed of all their pupils and provides personal targets for each pupil so that they grow in confidence while learning essential life skills. The school was awarded ‘Good’ status in their most recent Ofsted inspection.

Your new role
As an experienced and passionate Early Years Practitioner, you will join our friendly and supportive team. Your primary responsibility will be working with a small group of pupils who have special educational needs, including autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and emotional and behavioral difficulties. Your role involves planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the individual needs and abilities of your students. Collaborating closely with other staff members, parents, and external agencies, you'll ensure the best possible outcomes for your pupils.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • A recognized teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching SEN pupils in a primary school setting.
  • A good understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive and flexible attitude.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
