Electrician | Northampton| Up to £25p/hr

Your new role
A qualified maintenance electrician is required to start work ASAP on a temporary contract. You need to be confident in carrying out reactive and planned electrical maintenance throughout the site. Domestic/ Commercial Maintenance experience is desirable.

Duration: Until March 31st, 2025, with the potential of a one-month extension.
Hours: Full-time: 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
Pay: Up to £25 p/hr, please note that we do not pay CIS, the only options of pay type are PAYE or Umbrella.

Your day-to-day duties
  • Carry out electrical maintenance and repair tasks are delegated by the Facilities Helpdesk.
  • Tasks include replacement lights/ sockets, wiring appliances and fault-finding.
  • Be able to work alone or as a part of a team.
  • To complete relevant weekly/monthly Statutory Compliance checks including but not limited to Fire Alarm Testing, Emergency Light Testing and Water Temperature Testing.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Being an Electrician by trade with previous experience
  • Electrical qualifications, 18th Edition, Level 3 NVQ are essential for this role.
  • 2391 testing and inspecting qualifications is desirable.
  • Smartphone/tablet literate is desirable
  • A full UK driving licence
