Hays are delighted to be working in partnership with a Specialist Civils Contractor, based in Newry, in their recruitment of a Quantity Surveyor. This company was formed in 2014 and specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems across the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth, a new position has been created for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the MD, the successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial performance of the business from tender stage through the final account. Working closely with the factory and operational teams, you will maximise profitability, while limiting risk to the business.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying with a minimum of 2 years' experience with a contractor, ideally in civil engineering. You will be a driven individual with the capability to work independently.
