Your new company
A government agency is looking for an Executive Personal Assistant based in Brighton to work alongside the Executive Assistant to Director on a 6-month temporary contract. This role is ideally to start on the 24th of April and will finish at the end of October.
Your new role
You will be providing support and working alongside the Executive Assistant to the Director. You will be handling both the EA and Director diaries and support with prioritisation of day-to-day tasks. You will be responsible for email inboxes and correspondence as well as highlighting priority emails. You will act as the first point of contact and ensure all enquiries and issues are handled quickly and efficiently. You will develop and build strong working relationships and be the go-to person for all and any process and procedure enquiries. Handling travel and accommodation bookings ensuring all is in line with the budget requirements. Taking meeting minutes, co-ordinating, scheduling and managing agendas and co-ordination of external events.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience with diary management, taking meeting minutes and strong knowledge of SharePoint. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to confidently liaise with senior members of staff effectively. You will have strong organisation, planning and prioritisation skills. You will have previous PA/ EA experience and be able to demonstrate / talk about this in your interview. You will need to be immediately available to start or on a short notice period of up to 1 week.
What you'll get in return
This is a 6month temporary contact paying £22.15 per hour premium. This role is 35hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (there is flexibility on start and finish times). The role is hybrid working, 2 days a week in the office.
