EYFS Teaching Assistant needed
We are collaborating with a dynamic and welcoming primary school in the centre of Northampton, dedicated to creating a caring and supportive atmosphere for all its students. Your new role We are looking for a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join an Early Years Foundation Stage team. Your primary responsibility is to provide high-quality care, safeguarding, and well-being of young children. You will ensure that all policies and procedures are implemented while meeting the children’s needs and planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
Some of your other duties include:
- Preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.
- Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health, and safety standards are met.
- Setting up the play space, including moving furniture and play equipment.
- Working within the framework of the preschool’s policies and procedures and the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Developing and maintaining good communication with all members of the preschool and parents.
- Modelling good practice.
What you will need to succeed
**Ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs of the student **Good behaviour management and organisational skills **SEN experience **You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through Hays What
