An international manufacturing business here in the South West is looking for a Finance Director to head up their finance team, reporting to the CEO.

Your new role

The Finance Director is a key hire for this business, playing an instrumental part in driving current and future change, whilst helping to support the business in its next phase of growth. The role will include:

• Work with the CEO and wider leadership team, helping to support business strategy, business plans and budgets, acting as a commercial partner to help facilitate growth.
• Bringing together management accounts, forecasting, budgets and analysis of production costs, including waste reporting.
• Management of a small team, helping to develop and support where required.
• Management of year-end statutory reports
• Management of Capex process and providing financial input on expenditure
• Ownership of systems and helping support development to support future growth
• Working capital and stock management

What you'll need to succeed

This position will be of interest to candidates who thrive on change and are looking to play a key role in the growth phase of a great local business. We are looking for a qualified accountant that has experience of leading and managing teams in a manufacturing environment. This could be your first Finance Director role or would also appeal to experienced directors that are looking for a new challenge.
