Finance Director - £up to 70k + Bonus + Equity

Your new company
Our client is an investment firm looking to secure a Finance Director for a business based in North Antrim. The business has ambitious plans to grow and the commercially focused FD will play a significant role working as part of the executive team driving the short and long term goals of the business. This role is going to move very quickly, and we are hoping to secure a candidate before the close of the year.

Your new role
As Financial Director you will be hands-on, delivering the day-to-day financial operations of the Company. You will have a key role in the strategic and financial development of the business.

• To manage the financial functions within the company in a manner that sustains the business and meets all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• To strongly influence profitability and to contribute to commercial strategy in a high growth environment.
• To provide meaningful and timely management information to support decision-making and performance management.
• To ensure the financial needs of the business are met (e.g., working capital) and appropriate profit protection processes and systems are in place.
• To ensure appropriate systems are in place, IT or otherwise, to support the organisation in its financial and performance reporting.
• To manage third party banking relationships.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have the determination, drive and business guile to make the strategic plans a reality. You will have great leadership abilities, financial control and business planning experience, and you will be an experienced qualified accountant with proven communication skills.
