Your new role
As an experienced Finance Manager or Company Accountant with experience in a local government environment, you will be involved in setting up and managing assets of the organisation, ensuring all financial and management accounting information is provided. You will be responsible for producing year-end accounts as well as all the general day to day accounting duties - VAT, journals, grant administration, reconciliations, analysis and more. You will have support from junior team members for administrative finance tasks. You could be a qualified accountant, current studier, AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
What you'll need to succeed
Your engagement skills will be excellent, and having the ability to work closely with operational colleagues in managing financial information will be essential for success. Demonstrating a track record of delivery in financial management, as well as an understanding of asset management and the production of year-end accounts will be key to success in this role.
