My client is a medium-sized charity based in London, but with offices across the world.

Your new role

My role is Finance Manager on a temporary basis to cover sick leave. The role is expected to be for around 3 months. It is supervising 3 - 4 staff. The role will include:

• Lead the Accounts Receivable and Payable functions
• Manage the cashflow and lead on the treasury function
• Produce monthly management accounts reports for review
• Running month-end process including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet and reviewing cash reconciliations
• Continue to roll out the functionality of their system Workday
• Undertake variance and performance analysis and assist with budgeting & forecasting
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis with insightful narrative for budget holders
• Day-to-day oversight of project cash requirements, including being a key point of contact with external stakeholders and managing the approval of payments
• Assist in enhancing the internal financial controls and procedures within the Finance team

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed, you will need

• Strong understanding of financial policies & processes
• Strong communication skills and be confident and clear in presenting financial information to stakeholders
• Excellent skills in cashflow forecasting and working capital optimisation
• An understanding of international treasury, payments, and banking systems is highly desirable
